The Diva Cup delivers a cleaner, safer, more convenient and less expensive period.
An excellent and safe alternative to regular feminine hygiene products, the menstrual cup, which has been around for about 80 years, seems to be finally gaining popularity. Yep, it goes up "there". But don't worry, it isn't intimidating or frightening as it sounds. Featuring high-grade silicone material with ridged grips for easy removal, the Diva Cup is also reusable. Perfect for any activity, this bell-shaped cup can be used for up to 12 hours before requiring attention.

Over 30/having kids doesn't always mean size 2!
Since Health Canada doesn't have any natural rubber-based menstrual cups currently approved, this was the next best thing. It astounds, me, however, that being 30+ or having children would ensure one would have a larger vaginal space! I'm in my thirties and have a couple of vaginal births, and though I'm quite petite overall, I followed instructions by choosing the 2nd size and for a year wondered why I could feel it and why it was so difficult to keep in place. It wanted to tilt sideways, to fall out, and it gave some pressure down there. I tried the small when replacing and surprise surprise, it fit. Ladies- if you are a small woman and think it's possible you aren't a size two, listen to your gut! I wish DivaCup would mention that on the box. I can't be the only woman who has experienced this. Otherwise it is great! Don't miss tampons at all! Still great enough to give 4.5 stars now that I have one that fits

The Diva Cup: A Great Option
I really like to Diva Cup. It took a little while to get used to it, but once you get over the fear, it's really handy, and you make way less garbage! For those who have a tough time trying it at first, persevere, it's worth it! The only issue that I have is that my flow is very heavy the first day or two, and if I don't change it every 2 hours, it will leak. Not that big of deal if you are prepared, and the next few days are fantastic, you almost forget that it's that time of the month... Oh, and I am under 30, and have never had a baby.
