We sell some hard-working deodorant on this site, but there is always the option of making your own!
If we know one thing, it's this: A good natural deodorant can be hard to find! Which is why we would like to share our natural deodorant recipe which has surprising strength and has become a family and friend favorite. It's natural, safe, inexpensive, customizable to your needs and preferences and it actually works!
Baking Soda
Arrowroot Powder or Corn Starch
Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
Essential Oil of Your Choice (optional)
1. Mix equal portions of baking soda and arrowroot (or cornstarch) powder.
2. Mix in coconut oil slowly until it reaches desired consistency and texture.
3. Add a few drops of essential oil, or omit for a scent-free mixture.
4. Transfer to a container (old deodorant container or container with lid).
Because this natural, homemade deodorant is slightly different than one you would find on store shelves, you may discover it is easier to apply with fingers. If this is so, a small container with a lid will work wonderfully! Please note that this product may separate in warm temperatures and require another good mixing. The reason this forumla is different than what is retailed on this site is this recipe simply lacks natural ingredients that act as a stabilizer.
*if you find you have a sensitivity to an ingredient, such as the baking soda, reduce the amount of that ingredient in your mixture or discontinue use.

Better than commercial deodorant
You can apply this stuff, and it will keep you smell free for days (provided you don't wash it off). Easy to make, too!
