For the health-conscious who possess a guilty pleasure of pretty painted nails: a safer choice.
The most natural nail polish available today and made in Canada, Suncoat's water-based formula releases water vapor into the air (as opposed to chemical fumes that chemical nail polishes release) during application. Suncoat has developed a safer alternative nail polish which contains:
- No Acetates
- No FD&C dyes
- No Formaldehyde
- No Phthalates
- No Toluene
- No nasty odor!
- Earth pigments and carmine for coloring
- Non-flammable ingredients
Suncoat's water-based nail polish should not be confused with toluene and/or formaldehyde-free nail polish. Suncoat nail polish has found a way to exist without those nasty chemicals, as well as the acetates which would have replaced them!
To apply: Paint onto dry and clean nails.
Ingredients:
Aqua (water, ~65% in formula)
acrylate copolymer / styrene-acrylate copolymer (~28% in formula)
propylene glycol n-butyl ether, dipropylene glycol dibenzoate (all under 4%):
Pigments/colorant: may contain [+/-]
mica (CI 77019)
titanium dioxide (CI 77891)
ferric ferrocyanide
iron oxide (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499)
chromium oxide (CI 77288)
carmine (CI 75470)
* Please Note: if the polish becomes too thick and streaky:
Simply add water ONE DROP AT A TIME to the polish and shake well.
Adding too much water to the polish may result in polish separation, which, quite frankly, sucks.
